Noticed something that in US. Shows are usually on break when some important sporting event is broadcasted in one network. Others takes a break off regular programming. Here everyone is competing against one another 24×7. On premiere dates subscribers are the biggest losers as you will always find two big movies always clashing.

Well rival networks having a clash of movie premieres is still understandable but why Sony and Zee r premiering 2 movies on same date /time.
Chehre itself has niche appeal and clashing it with Sooryavanshi will further dip its ratings. Also as i have noticed bollywood films tend to mostly not perform well or to its full potential on Sony and reason very well could be that large part of bollywood audience has moved away from the channel bcoz it airs mostly dubbed south indian movies all day.

Sony has major challenge to not only build a strong bollywood films library but then also to try and bring back the bollywood audience to Sony Max.

As far as flagship channels or Free Dish channels is concerned only Star/Disney has managed run its chs successfully with bollywood content being at the core focus. Others have largely been dubbed south indian movies dependent (except Colors Cineplex Bollywood) but still not managed to match star /disney interms of ratings, also even if say they air bollywood content still it does not get desired ratings when compared to what star/disney manages to get be it for movie premieres or older films.

There is something quite appealing about Star/disney hindi movie channels content strategy which makes audience tune into their channels more. There are many factors contributing to it which i will discuss some other day. But clearly Star/Disney channels stand out from its competitors which is a big achievement in a genre which is hyper competitive

83 is going to follow the route of 2.0, Stree, Luka Chuppi of having World Television Premiere before having the Digital Premiere

In the promo, the voice over clearly stated that '83 is coming directly on Star Gold from the theatres'

So maybe its Digital Premiere could happen on Netflix on 21st March

Netflix is known for surprises . Maybe before Star , they will give a surprise by premiering it. Expect February 3rd week premiere

So in this premiere competition , Bhoot Police got almost 3 times ratings as compared to Antim. Salman Khan films are not performing that well on zee, i think more so bcoz of content of these films
