Bournvita Quiz Contest which started in 1972, initially hosted by Hamid Sayani and Ameen Sayani, is back on the small screen. "Yes, the show is back on TV.
The first episode will be aired on August 14 on Colors," says Derek O'Brien." Bournvita Quiz contest which was pulled off air in 2007 will have Saumya Tandon as Derek O'Brien's co-quizmaster. Unlike the previous seasons, the show will be hosted in Hindi and English languages.
"I have been roped in for the show now called Cadbury Qiz Contest because the idea was to expand the target audience. We want people, who aren't too familiar with the English language, to enjoy the contest. The show's first schedule will soon be shot in Kolkata. We will later move to different cities."
