Home Theater doesnt have HDMI IN.
I have connected D2H HD to Sony Bravia TV via HDMI Cable.
If i connect to Home Theater via AUX In will i get 5.1 surround sound???????

without optical IN in your HT you will not get digital 5.1 ...you can get simple analogue stereo sound via aux cable out from TV to HT.

digital sound can only be enjoyed if you play DVD in your HT via HDMI cable.

Also please note in your DTH set top box go to sound settings and in audio select digital out put else its all analogue. The crispness and minute details can only be enjoyed via optical out from DTH box directly to HT.

Can anyone suggest those home theater systems with coaxial /spdif audio input.I am searching for one.I am not looking for brand.Just need one in low cost..please help

Yes brother.Chances are there.

I have a set up which gives 80% surround sound in 5.1.

My tv 32ex550 Sony supports Dolby digital.A stereo to RCA cable is connected to Sony HT.
HT is set in prologic modes.Select dd in STB.
The tv downgrade dd to stereo out but its with high quality.Switch between dd and normal audio in STB, difference is highly noticeable.

DAV TZ-215 HT Sony, is having excellent prologic surround mode when fed with high quality stereo input via RCA. 2.0 is converted to crisp 5.1.

Can anyone please help me for the settings to enjoy dd sound? At present, I found stereo sound is much better than DD sound, which is absurd. for info, I have sony 4k tv (DD supported) and d2h 4k stb. Thanx in advance
