Not Star Bharat alone. So many regional channels are like in comma stage in ventilator. No fresh/own programs. Asianet Plus from Malayalam is another instance

In my opinion, they should discontinue the Star Gold Romance channel. Star Gold 2 could broadcast higher-quality movies, and they could also introduce an HD version of the Star Gold Thrills channel.

As far as the CCI is concerned, Star and Viacom18 together have a market share of 40% and above in only 4 genres: Kannada, Bengali, Marathi and kids. So the CCI has asked the broadcasters to shut down channels only from these 4 genres for the time being.
That doesn’t mean that no other channel will be shut down, but the chances are less since they want as many channels on air as possible, given the frozen ad rates. However I think that Jalsha Movies shouldn’t have been chosen for closure instead of Colors Bangla Cinema.

Colors bangla movies have good viewership then star jalsha movies in recent times i think that's why the choosed jalsha movies..and they have to shutdown some more channels and have to concentrate more in flagship channels

Actually this statement is now an Universal Statement of every Bengali Movie Lovers who used to enjoy Every Bangla Recent Time Movies in HD. And interestingly Jalsha Movies SD and HD Feed always telecast different Movies as they are not a Complete Mirror Channel.
CCI may observe that now a days in terms of BARC ratings Colors Bangla Cinema is way ahead of SJM so thought to axe down the Property which lags behind.
But which irritating the Bangla Movie Lovers most is the Non Presence of HD version of CBC which will really hamper the Tempo on watching a New Movie on only in SD. So after Merger it's necessary for the New Entity to look every Sector to Utilise their Existing Channels that to Cater maximum Audiences. In this case some HD Variants should be applied for MIB License and Launch ASAP.
-Colors Bangla Cinema HD
-Sports 18-2 HD
-Sports 18-3 HD
-Star Sports 3 HD. and so on.....

As no particular date have been announced for New Entity to come into Day Light - Both CBC and SJM are promoting their WTP Movies in this month where "DurgeshGarer Guptodhan" shifting from Jalsha Movies to Colors Bangla Cinema and airing as Channel Premiere on 15th November on the other hand a Brand New Movie "Jangale Mitin Mashi" making WTP on Sunday 17th Nov on SJM.

Atleast they have to rebrand and change the logo current logo is very poor even vijay tv has average logo compare to star maa star pravah have to bring 3d structure logo with same color

suvarna plus as suvarna movies

For Suvarna plus , in Karnataka although it has TRP , it doesnt have a fan base like colors kannada cinema , which has base purely from colors brand.
with both star and colors having more than 15 years, they can bring their old content and make it one more GEc/movie and keep CKC as pure movie channel.

Colors Tamil can telecast Youth Centric Serials and Daily Reality Shows along with 3 Movies per day, because after every Biggboss Vijay TV struggles to reach in 9:30 PM Slot

Also they can Swap Repeats of Vijay TV Prime Time slots to Colors Non Prime Time and Vice Versa.
