Which do you prefer, Asianet News or Manorama News? I don't think there is any significant competition to these two except maybe Mathrubhumi News.

I like Asianet News, Manorama News(veterans in the market, experts in bringing breaking news and leading in TRP) and News 18 Keralam (decent presentation and more news contents). Even though all Malayalam news channels have hidden agendas, most of them try to have a neutral face outside (except political party owned channels). Means they will not become extremely biased in debates etc.

But then what happened suddenly that they had to sell their stakes? Kuch Toh gadbad hai was it bcoz of DEMO? Rajyasabha membership? Or Smthing else. Just asking
