39 SD channels on 11470 H 30000 TP. Are they using different bandwidth for each channel with variable compression or something like that? I thought TS can have max 32 on 36 Mhz TP. So how are they doing it?

Its like they are using mpeg5 technology.

RDTV transmits 30 to 35 channels at 46 mbps bandwith with good quality. tatasky has 74 mbps bandwidth. 45 to 50 channels possible.
