Viacom18 has lined up special programming for the New Year on its English entertainment channels—Colors Infinity, Comedy Central and Vh1 India.
Music channel Vh1 India will air the compilation of all 2016’s popular music videos in its special series ‘Vh1 Top 50 Videos of 2016’. The channel will not only offer its viewers a quick recap of the year’s chartbusters but will also be a countdown to the No. 1 video of the chart. The series will be aired on 31 December from 12 pm onwards.
English GEC Colors Infinity will premiere seasons 1 and 2 of the conspiracy thriller ‘Utopia’ on 31 December and 1 January, respectively, at 12 pm.
The series follows the lives of five strangers who are from a common online comic book forum. As they lay their hands on a cult graphic book manuscript called ‘Utopia’, rumoured to have predicted the worst disasters of the last century, they automatically become the target of government organisation The Network.
Laughter channel Comedy Central will air six hours of special flashbacks to the shows that made viewers happy this year. From 3 pm to 9 pm, the channel will air ‘Angie Tribeca’ on 29 December, ‘The Carmichael Show’ on 30 December, ‘Superstore’ on 31 December and ‘Impastor’ on 1 January.
