I don't remember the exact date but I think it was 2006 when I got my TS connection. I remember going to TS distributor's place to get my box directly before official launch in Kolkata. I have since gone thru SD, TS+, TS HD and HD+ and currently have a HD+ as primary and a HD as secondary connection. I too am a overall satisfied TS user in spite of the prolonged delay in channel addition.

I brought first SD stb in somewhere in 2006 September

My father decided bcoz our old TV was not having remote and only 8 channels

With stb we were able to see lots of channel with initial few month monthly pack rate was fixed at just inr200
