the question is will they use Insat or ST2,or both ! Its not clear how the merger will be,will Vcon run as now with shares held by Dtv,or Vcon closed :'( all moved to Dtv using Insat and their boxes : :huh only time will tell!

Merger can easily take place. If Dish TV add Irdeto encryption along with their existing Conax encryption on their channels and move the Dish antenna from 88 East to 95 East then they can not only save money from satellite + a lot of customers of VideoCon D2H + no more offices will be required for D2H + Same Dish TV customer care will also handle D2H + no more need of D2H employees and for Dish TV all these are pure benefits. Users will also get many new channels.

Yes....both the DTHs will remain different after this transaction.Already the same communication was shared to internal employees ( for job Security reason ) but the subscriber base will be shown as one company ( Dish will be the parent firm ) Dish TV is going to get huge benefits from broadcaster due to this huge subscriber base of 2 DTHs.
All the channels will be shared across both the platforms.
Zing will be merged into D2h very soon.
