Original Dangal(Hindi) itself is filled with rerun shows then how can we expect original shows in their regional channel!? Since its FTA and available in most of the DTH, it is a popular channel. Hope same happens with Dangal Kannada too.
They never get success like Hindi channel in Kannada market .they can get temporary success with dubbed serial and old serial (3to6months) they coming in BARC top 5 list doesn't possible. On top of it, they clearly said it's Dubbing based channel. They are making good amount of money with less investment.
I know Dangal Kannada cannot beat those existing giants. If this channel doesn't telecast original serial they can't sustaine in Kannada market because it highly competitive 4+1GEC channels and 3 movies channel (Star Suvarna plus doesn't added because they nead revamp).
) But Dangal is targeted to different viewer base. I mean to Rural and FTA users. Some facts:
They are testing logos.Dangal Kannada now showing animated logo.. looks good
Not only logo, they are Testing Picture Resolution also sometimes they are Telecasting movies in 5:4, 16:9 Aspect Ratios
