no they r not removing these to add espn hd, well hd tp is different, its currently run on dvb s2 technology while standard transponders r on dvb s so they r most probably adding few new standard definition channels which r in demand

no try to understand due to mismanagement by isro tata sky is in accute space crunch, if they had space and would have removed channels to get new ones, i would have strongly objected to that too while incase of dish tv, they have space but they still dont give true hd channels and instead give upscaled channels with hefty cost. also they removed espn channels just so that they can loot more money

for ur info sadiq tata sky applied for 12 additional transponders in 2007 and isro has not given them transponders till now.max time limit that isro gives is 24 months but its been 48 months but still they have not been able to deliver . gsat 10 launch was scheduled since 2009 end but delays have caused to it being not launched and tata sky is stuck
dish tv is a fraud company and which is why i target them

In Rainy Season Also DD Direct and TATASky Signal Goes First and DISH TV NSS 6 TP's Hardly Go [Personal Experience]

well for ur info only thru isro can dth companies get transonders, thre is no other way.
regarding packs, tata sky has great packaging, no issue in it
also rain outage is very less
dishtv on othe other hand is pro in fooling people, making fraud schemes and not investing in good technology. they still dont have a dvr, pity
