As per my knowledge and their sentence on twitter. I feel DD Sports going to rebrand to DD Sports HD.

but dd sports is in MPEG-2 format and if they shift it to MPEG-4 then match will blackout for MPEG-2 viewrs. that's not possible.

Hd channels can come on mpeg2 also. Ddfd has tested in past.
