My take on Zee kannada cinema.. Zee would probably name cinema channel as Sandalwood as kannada cinema is known as sandalwood. as they renamed their zee classic channel into bollywood . guys sorry for low res. its my first logo.

Good bro.Zee sandalwood is good naming.Since it can reduce elongation from the name 'Zee kannada cinema' and it will be a variety approach.But if they give such type of names they can't telecast dubbed movies.

That may not happen bro.Zee don't have such a big library like Udaya.Also I regional languages(other than hindi) most network had only one movie channels(except sun). Especially for Zee one movie channel itself is a big deal.
Bro my mind says if zee launch a kannada movie channel and if they strike anywhere or else in this forum most probably they may give your name "Zee sandalwood"

Only because Telugu is a massive market, Zee Cinemalu HD was launched. There are 3 HD movie channels in Telugu, with a fourth (ETV Cinema HD) coming soon. Otherwise they won't launch HD versions of regional movie channels. Look at Zee Bangla Cinema.

But they launched Zee Talkies HD because it is the one and only important Marathi movie channel. Star and Viacom have nothing. As far as Bangla is concerned, all the important movies are controlled by Star. So Jalsha Movies launched an HD version. There is no need for Zee Bangla Cinema HD.
