It's called volte. Volte semibold. It's available in Indian Type Foundry website. But I did not purchase it. I wrote it in the sample text box. Took a screenshot. Added the colours in Photoshop. And that's it.
Regarding the tagline, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Even Star gold has a tagline "Karo Dil Ki".

Even I thought it was Volte. I saw it in the Qatar Airways magazine I found somewhere. Thanks for confirmng it. Its Devanagari version is used by Zee TV and Zee Anmol. (Link to Qatar magazine: PageSuite)
P.S.: In fact Indian Type Foundry made the Kohinoor font that is used by the Star network, Star Plus, Star Jalsha, etc. and also by Chennai and Kochi Metro Rail. Here's a couple of surprising tweets.
I recorded some videos of the old as well as new graphics from the Tata Sky web TV site on my PC. I had to stay up until 4:30am tonight Singapore time (2:00am IST) as I had to cut out those portions that were causing copyright conflicts with Star. Enjoy.
