Yes compared to the urban regions, rural audience watch the dubbed ones in more number but there has been constant growth of dubbed films in the urban regions as wellThere is more consumption of dubbed south indian films in rural areas or smaller towns and dhinchaak getting success bcoz of this. Urban Areas tend to contribute more in ratings of bollywood films
Here in the urban region out of top 5, 2 are dubbed some times number may be even more or less dubbed films (on average out of top 5 urban films every week 2-3 dubbed films are there) are there. Those south stars like Allu Arjun, Mahesh babu, yash, vijay devarakonda, prabhas etc etc who have huge fan following across the country even some have more than few of the bollywood stars, those actors films people love to watch their let it be urban or rural.
