Picture quality wise any difference between HD ready & Full HD. For Better PQ in our dths HD ready is enough or Full HD is required.

HD Ready is enough at the moment for dth in India coz at present in india we dont have FULL HD channel..
If u are a Die Hard Gamer i.e. If u play Playstation Games which are Fullhd then u need to have Full HD TV..

Agree with SPANDAN. Full HD is not required atleast now since we do not have any broadcaster who telecasts at 1080p.

Also you cant enjoy Full HD if the screen size is less than 42 inches because of the high pixel ratio. Better go for a HD ready if you want 32 inch, so you can save few bucks.

Screen resolution: HD ready- 720p,Full HD -1080p

An HD ready TV cannot display high definition TV, it can only display at a slightly higher screen resolution than conventional TV. So if you play full HD media on an HD ready TV you will actually *lose* image quality. It'll still look better than a conventional TV, but not a patch on full HD.

HDTVs today are able to support 720i/720p/1080i/1080p signals. So the single most important spec that should be looking for when choosing a HDTV is the screen resolution

Sadly Mine is HD ready LCD

I would suggest Sony

Bro, you don't need to be sad about this. Technically speaking, 720P is better than 1080i as Progressive Scanning is always better than Interlacing...please watch any sports channel on so called full HD LCD/LED with 1080i resolution and observe any moving action like Football, Field Hockey etc and watch the same in HD Ready LED/LCD and you'll clearly see the difference (No of Pixels). However, as contrast ratio in LED is unbelievably high, I would suggest TS to purchase LED HD Ready TV. Also, response time is very important in selecting LCD/LED tv.
