Takes the total Telugu channel count to 42 channels and services, highest in the industry
Dish TV, Asia's largest DTH service provider, in yet another move to diversify their presence in the DTH market have added a new channel ETV Telangana for the Telugu market. ETV Telangana is a news and infotainment channel that serves a range of programmes for the state of Telangana. It covers regular happenings in the state, the cultural heritage and social framework of the state. The channel will be available on Dish TV channel number 920.
Announcing this new development Mr. Salil Kapoor, Chief Operating Officer, Dish TV India said,"At Dish TV, we are always innovating and exploring opportunities to bring wholesome entertainment to the audience. We are delighted to add ETV Telangana, the source of rich infotainment to audiences in largest DTH platform".
Speaking on the development, Gaurav Gandhi, Chief Operating Officer, Indiacast UTV Media Distribution Pvt. Ltd. said,"With the launch of ETV Telangana on the platform, we have further strengthened our partnership with Dish TV and as a network, we remain committed to deliver high quality Entertainment and News services to our viewers across the country - a vision that is shared with Dish TV. With the channel now available on Dish TV, more viewers across India would have access to the engaging content which the channel has to offer."
