After the addition of 5 Star Channels Dish TV becomes No.1 in HD Channels provider.

Dish TV - 27
D2H - 22
Airtel - 15
TS - 12+1 event based
SD - 8+1
Reliance - 8

As Dish TV have lot of space they can add upto 40 HD channels as of today.

But bro its HD channels are upscaled not TRUE HD.

27 channels that have been counted for dish tru hd are the true hd channels @1080i standard.... The count doesnt include the upscaled hd channels...

I totally agree. Dishtv rocks as far as HD channels count is concerned but it will make it perfect if they resolve their sound issue like Airtel and Videocon i.e. Dolby 5.1 which will make package complete one

but after all we can say indian dth operator are running 27+ true hd channels.
