I'm planning to get dish tv. Someone here said about downgrading from app after getting new connection possible. Is it correct? Is downgrading available on app and can I do so myself from platinum to some cheaper plan once installation is done?

Yes you can downgrade your pack to any lower packs. You can downgrade from dishtv website too.

thanks to you and hike bro finally I confidentiality placed order, got installed within 7-8 hours, done with dish99 from app and increased validity to about 4 months at no cost. bought from eBay at 704 and also got 72 cash back from freecharge, so total cost was just 632 for complete connection, 755 ka recharge too. thanks again. :)

"your connection is in acquisition period till 21/Jan/2017 and in
acquisition period we are unable to process your request and after
21/Jan/2017 you can activated temporary deactivation service on your
connection."

My question is here what is acquisition period?for how long is it?
