Dish TV STB as a FTA Receiver

Dear All Friends,

Can I used Dish SD Receiver as a FTA receiver for ABS-2 and Nss-6??
If yes please tell me, how can it possible?

But, Dish Tv STB shown 4 satellite in one box and support diseqc switch 4x1.

I know but dishtv stb is not a fta stb. Can't support other sattelite. If you wanna watch other sattelite you need to buy a fta stb.

U cannot use it as a FTA receiver because firmware is fully locked. Why do not you buy a FTA box for this purpose?

yes u can use before activate your stb
if you one time activated do not use its free to air
