Ya...He have waited till 2 years for this new entity...& Now another 2 years for DTH portability....Then he will wait little more.

And after that he will learn that current boxes is not compatible with other DTH so need to buy another new box in open market to take advantage of portability

So this actually not a merger. Its more of an acquisition, as Videocon is a subsidiary of Dish TV.

Yes, but the company that owns more than 51% is the owner and the management is under its control.
If u read the terms in d2h site it says videocon is now part of Dishtv India Ltd. It doesnt say DishTv Videocon Ltd.

Now the time is to put Videocon section under Dishtv section on DDF in true sense.
As per me bro it should be done as Dish TV Videocon as the new merged entity is named...
And should not keep Videocon as a sub forum...
