Breaking DSport removed the word “Discovery”

Recent Press releases mention Lex Sportel as parent & operating company of DSport with Lex Sportel registering 1Sport trademark in November.

Adding to this, this 1Sports channel has started test telecast in C band on Intelsat-17 @ 66°E from last week onwards. This channel seems to be an FTA channel, may be this channel is planned like Star Sports First, to include in DD Freedish platform. Let's wait and see.

So I had a talk with a top official in Discovery India Communications department.

Official line is DSport license is owned by Discovery and remains their channel. Eurosport logo trademarked for protection.

No update on Investigation Discovery at the moment.
