Friends,

I Took A Survey In My Village, Which Consists 73 Homes,

Here We Have Analog Cable Service Too, Paying Rs.100 For 70+ Channels

Last Year Same Time There Was Two DTH Connections (Sun Direct & Dish TV) We Had,

But This Year,

3 - Sun Direct

1 - Dish TV

3 - Videocon ( 1HD+2SD)

2 - Airtel

1 - Reliance (I Think It's SD Only)

- Well It Seems Like DTH Growing Well In Rural Areas

ya sure ! Dth Growing in All Rural Area Because Cable operator Not Add All Channels And In Dth...We can Viewing Any channel By Price,Finally Small cable Operators Ends Due to Dth Connections.

Here in my city World Call Network Operates. They have 90 Channels at 250 Rs per month.
Mostly people have Dishtv.
Only few people have other dth like airtel and videocon.

yes, dth services are growing in all india very rapidly. here also in every village you can see those dishes in each home roof. :)

In Maharashtra Dish TV rocks and later ts and later airtel / d2h in my area. Jo log experienced nahi hote wo dish tv jyada pae jane ke karan unka jhukav dish tv ki or jyada reheta hai phir kuchh saal bad kuchh log dish tv chhod aur dth apna lete hai.

In our street out of 10 houses, 5 houses having cable.
Others having,
airtel, dishtv - 3 connections and sun hd one.

Mere area me abhi analog cable connections kam ho gaye hai. Kafi hadd tak karan no new movies by cable operator, power off few times, no epg, etc. & etc. lagbagh 50% aaspas analog cable tv connections kuchh mahinose kam hue hai.
