Academy Award Winning and highly acclaimed movie West Side Story (2021) will be premiered on Star Movies Next Saturday (11th March ) at 1 PM and 9 PM.
Such movies take long time to have premiere on TV as 1stly these have longer run at box office / cinemas and thus OTT premiere happens late and when it arrives on OTT then it is offered on rental basis for a long period so as it further boost revenue for the studio and thereafter ia available to subscribers as part of their OTT subscription. Even if it is made available as part of OTT subscription from beginning still OTT window is lot bigger for such movies and then finally it premieres on TV Channels.
