According to Fox News Latino, the song, which was released in 2014, and features Descemer Bueno and reggaeton duo Gente de Zona, is the only Spanish-language video to join the exclusive group of videos that have garnered 1 billion views on the platform.
The singer is the first Latin music artist to hit the milestone. The only other video in another language besides English to hit the billion views mark is "Gangnam Style" by South Korean artist Psy.
Iglesias recently celebrated another career success when he was the night's biggest winner at the first-ever Latin American Music Awards.
Although he wasn't present at the award ceremony because he is currently on tour, Iglesias walked away with five wins, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Favorite Collaboration, Favorite Streaming Song and Favorite Male Artist.
The star was also recently announced as a nominee for Favorite Latin Artist at this year's American Music Awards. Iglesias is up against bachata star Romeo Santos and pop sensation Ricky Martin.
Iglesias is the favorite to win, since he has been nominated for the award every single year since 1998, winning it six times, reported Billboard.
Next up for Iglesias is participating in the L Festival, the largest festival celebrating Latin-American culture, on Saturday, Oct. 24 in Southern California.
