How to do factory reset in dishtv stb ?

Follow the step to do factory reset in DishTV.

Press Menu, then go to Help, click on STB Info button, then press Red button on your remote. In Installation Main Menu, you will find Restore Factory Setting at the bottom. Click on it to do factory reset.

Press Menu button on remote for 6-7 seconds..installation menu will appear.. scroll down to Factory Reset Option.. press OK.. factory will reset.. STB will Reboot..

Thanks for the info. Another thing I want to know, is there any way to restart STB by using remote?

U can put STB on stand by usin remote.. to restart.. do it from main switch..
