After 15 years of FashionTV in SD on its air, CABLE TV Hong Kong, the leading cable operator in Hong Kong, has launched FashionTV in HD.
FashionTV is one of the best distributed channels in the world, especially in Asia. FashionTV reaches more than 350 million homes, and has acquired more than 512 million views on YouTube (youtube.com/fashiontv), with a growth of 25 million new views a month. In Asia alone FashionTV has acquired more than 142 million views on YouTube in only 3 years, with 4.6 million views in Hong Kong and 4.6 million views in Singapore, resulting in the highest per capita views in Asia.
With this launch FashionTV HD is now distributed and available in key parts of Asia including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand and all over the Middle-East, with Hong Kong acting as the main channel.
