This is sh#t, i only feel that watchable ftas in sun direct is only 25 channels, all others are crap.

Vanavil, vasanth, mega and win tv nobody choose. So giving for free or forcefully for trp.

Instead of this they can add popular fta channels.

Bro you can select 100 pay channels only these FTA channels are completely free does't count in 100 slots
I selected more than 100 pay channels just to see if ncf charges of 20₹ is added, but it is not. So either SD will not charge any NCF charges above 130₹ for any number of channels (in contrast to its pdf which says 20₹ for 25 channel slot), or it is a bug in software that NCF charges not being added when a pay channel is selected.

What if, I want only FTA channels? Shall I don't pay anything?
100 SD channels limit is for pay channels. As all FTA channels are complementary under 153 NCF with no count of channels in that. If you want FTA channels pay rs.153 and get ;)

It is logic as

Sundirect No. of FTA channels : 146
Tata Sky No. of FTA channels : 268

But NCF is same for both. How this is fair?

Ref: Tata sky
Sun direct
Will SD add more fta channels to compete with other dth?if they didn't add then many will move to other dth for more fta channels... Also if SD gives sun channels at low costs then for SD it will be advantage...

As dth operators can't charge for fta channels they may stop distributing many fta channels. trai should force dth operators to distribute at-least half fta channels available.
