Udaya needs to launch HD feed for Udaya Movies and Udaya Music. Star should rename Suvarna Plus as Suvarna Movies and launch HD feed for it. Colors Super should also have it's HD version. Zee should launch ZKHD asap and also announce ZK Cinema in both SD and HD. Only then we can see the list of HD channels in kannada compete with other languages.

ITV to launch NewsX Kannada
Bengaluru / Mumbai / Delhi: ITV Network , which runs News X English news channels and many other regional news channels is all set to enter crowded news space in Karnataka.



In an interview to Exchange4Media, Kartikeya Sharma, founder & Promoter of ITV revealed his plans to launch a Kannada news channel which will be hyper local in nature.This will be the network's 11 project and first channel in the southern market.

The channel will compete with existing 15 news channels in Karnataka and another two news channels viz First News, G6 News and TV1 are on the way in the already crowded market.

According to BARC ratings, TV 9 tops the TRP charts followed by Public TV and Suvarna News.
