Kasthuri TV picture quality is better than Star Suvarna in TV streaming.

For HD content, Star Suvarna SD cuts left and right side of the video ( zooms in) and not all scenes are visible properly with big info ads going on screen always.

In case of Kasthuri TV, they are fitting HD content inside SD ratio and remaining space filled by black color. This makes visibility of full content and good viewing experience. (Crime patrol, Karna). Other serials are old n shooted in SD only. After few episodes those will also convert to HD feed.

Although Mobile streaming has lower resolution and Some Smart TVs has inbuilt upscale technology.

Zee and colors stories are same and dragging. Star had good stories and udaya too but presentation wise very bad. Now improving.
Coming to movies ckc and udaya movies good

If Sirikannada convert as pay channel in NTO 2.0 for Rs.3/-, they can telecast good serials and movies.

The upcoming Prem Jothe Anjali is the ignition for the competition. This serial has many known faces and padmaja rao is also part of the team. This will definitely threat star Suvarna. Only they need is some investment.

This Channel new doesn't have ground level viewers reach if they want more viewers reach then promotes Channel as FTA atleast 6months after filling some more original programs.

Kannada viewers wants reality shows weekdays in prime time.



If any Channel comes with good promotion & Content to Kannada TV market potentiality they Can reach 80K+ (150+GRP) impression viewers in small period even more growth happens when time goes on.

The channel is not yet available in Tatasky and Sundirect. The new serial is not finite episodes and will be produced by Ravi R Garani. Few more serials are in queue. They are good in promotion compared to any other FTA. Definitely they will increase their budget in upcoming programs and gives quality content. All they just need is ground level viewers which they are building right now..

Also these owners are movie distributers, currently sharing movies to CKC, public, kasthuri & dangal. Many Exclusive rights to Star Suvarna. Once this channel grows, they will start premiering in their own channel.

Exactly.. They can change during its first anniversary on Sep 26th.. if not I don't have any hopes of its growth..

Kasthuri TV's availability is too poor..

In Airtel DTH, channel is not included in any packs. Many people don't even know about revamp.

Same case in d2h too.. Tried adding the channel explicitly to my relative, but still channel was not getting activated for some reason.

In Tatasky channel LCN at last and people switching till that end is very less.

The new CEO must work to make availability first.. Then can be focused on viewership increase.
