With NTO 2.0 Star Suvarna Plus must continue digital marketing which they stopped from NTO 1.0

Current price is only Rs. 1 with many cable and DTH operators. With NTO 2.0, price will increase 4 times. The channel without any social campaign stood at top 2 with organic growth, taking over highly marketing Zee picchar.

Suvarna plus must improve picture quality and broadcasting in 16:9 ratio

With these developments we can say that the channel has fully prepared and planned for the upcoming NTO 2.0.

Some developments in recent time.
  • Launch of devotional serial to attract rural audience (need to do marketing by visiting the temple just like Yedeyuru Shri Siddalingeshwara during NTO 2.0)
  • Upgrading channel aspect ratio to 16:9
  • Launch of Disney movies in kannada(we might see Marvel movies too)

* Best slot for Disney movies will be Sunday 9AM slot to target childrens
* With NTO 2.0, Bombat Bhojana Season 3 with outdoor and rural theme
* Bettada hoo might end and they might do Mahasanchike till the launch of Lacchi. Or BH might shift to evening slot.
* Even below slot change will also work: shifting Marali Manasagide to 8pm, Renuka Yellamma to 8.30pm and Lacchi at 6.30pm (to grab rural audience at late evening), BH at 6pm
 
NTO 2.0 Effect on Kannada channels

Udaya TV, Zee Kannada, Colors Kannada no change and same Rs. 19 continue

* Star Suvarna increased 73% and matches competitors

* Colors Super (Rs.3) , Colors Kannada Cinema(Rs.2) continue

* Suvarna Plus still same (Rs. 5) , few cables/DTH had Rs. 1

* Zee picchar increased from Rs. 3 to Rs. 10 (more than 3 times).

* Udaya Movies increased by Rs.2 ( Rs.19)

: got 2.6 tvr.
According to slot both the serials got good ratings. But Tripura sundari could have got till upto 4.5 tvr. But it's good ratings.

Star Suvarna Katheyondu Shuruvagide received highest TVR so far in Urban market at 7pm slot

2.9 TVR Urban
1.9 TVR ( U + R)
 
Even after having Good Movie Library,colors Kannada Cinema just repeat the Same Movies.One of reason for less ratings then other Channels.
