Muddumanigalu, Katheyondu Shuruvagide, Bettada hoo decreased a lot and difference added by Udho Udho Renuka Yellamma.. So overall same GRP

Star Suvarna(336) is just 59 GRP away from Colors Kannada(395) to claim No. 2 in URBAN market. With the launch of Namma Lacchi the gap closes even more and one Real unscripted Reality Show.

If Star Suvarna manages to grab more Rural audience than Urban from Namma Lacchi, then it can boost rest other Serials Rural market. 6pm to 7pm with Rural attraction shows are required to revamp for Rural viewers.

In my opinion, they should have placed RY at 8 pm and Namma Lachchi(at 8.30 pm) in between RY & YSL. So that it would get more ratings.

They should telecast some good promos of NL involving the core story and supporting artists. As per some reports Chandu Gowda is also part of this serial, but no promo of him released, no promo of other supporting characters, and no promo of the core story. As of now, they are just telecasting that little girl promo again and again. Supporting characters also play a major role in attracting viewers.

I think they don't want to reveal the entire story in the promo itself and concentrating on highlighting the characters. It's good only, but promos are not fully creative.. Compared to RY, these promos are just okay.. I have seen NL live shoot too, and it's coming very natural.. Hoping it will reach core rural audience like Laxmi Baramma & Lakumi

For Katheyondu Shuruvagide,
Urban + Rural data is 1.4 TVR
Urban only data is 2.8 TVR
So, can you calculate Rural only data?

Average = ( u + r )/ 2
1.4 = ( 2.8 + r ) / 2
1.4 × 2 = (2.8 + r)
2.8 = 2.8 + r
2.8 - 2.8 = r

Therefore Rural TVR is 0, which is impossible. If anyone knows about these magic numbers 🎩, can you explain

there are 2 different data sets you will get
one is 2+ and the other is 15+, Publicly available and advertised data are U+R 2+ or U 15+ orther than this you have U+R 15+, U 2+, R2+, so you wont find the direct relation with numbers,

And U+R rating is not just a simple average, the rating is done by giving weights accordingly. For example:
Compared to urban , rural viewers spend more time on TV( in term of average minutes spent) so they will have higher weights than Urban cohort (Sample) . So accordingly lets take 6 as a weight for rural and 2 as a weight for urban (These weights depend on calculations they have done to adjust the average time spent on tv , So the numbers I am saying here is just for understanding and not real) the the U+R will be

[(2*a) + (6*b)] / 2

so definitely the rural ratings will play a major role.

to calculate the above , you need to have same cohort, i.e you must have U 2+ to compare it with U+R 2+
 
Star Suvarna Title Card Graphics Review:

Last year in 2022, Star Suvarna slowly started revamping of programs without the color theme(yellow oranage) title card. With the coincidence, all those shows performed average to worst.

Shows like Ismart Jodi, Ardhangi, Raji, and later Bettada Hoo, Marali Manasagide title card also changed and all those TRP went down. Muddumanigalu also seen ups and down with many title cards.

Starting from Namma Lacchi again Star Suvarna bringing back the brand theme and this would definitely add some viewers of Zee in rural market, as both looks little similar. Hoping towards success again with brand theme graphics. They must bring back same theme across all the shows.

When Zee Kannada in 2nd position, it changed graphics similar to Colors kannada and gained it's viewers and later rebranded with 🍊 theme.

Note: Title Card itself can't be the failure, but for failure, it could also be one of the reason.
