Yes we could compare the picture quality btw hotstar (Kannada) and zee5 (hindi) Version.

Zee5 has higher resolution and enhanced color details. Even Colors has Sudeep's oldest movie Vali in good quality.
Star needs to buy new tier 1 movies and remaster old good movies.

I think this year Star has not bought any big budget movies except Kantara, which was bought before hit.

I think this year Star has not bought any big budget movies except Kantara, which was bought before hit.

All credits goes to ETV, looks like they preserved negatives of old movies. ETV Telugu has more number of remastered movies. Colors Kannada has Sudeeps Vaali, Dum, Chandu. Shivarajkumars Yuvaraja, Yaare Nee Abhimani, Sundarakanda and many other remastered movies.
Following by Udaya, they remastered many old Ravichandran movies
