It's better Star Suvarna end JANAKI SAMSARA and bring better practical story like Aase by Ramesh Aravind production.

If Colors work smartly, it can cross 900+ points with 1 or 2 new serials..
Hint: Zee gets fear only when it looses the slot leader

New story not mandatory. Zee is working well with old serials too.
Colors kannada needs to improve the storyline of the old serials.
Ramachari story line has gone worse that's why getting only 5+ .. Lakshmi baramma and BL doing good. Ninagaagi is doing good.
Antarapata storyline is to be made inspirational instead of emotional.
Chukki Taare leap will work better.

As of now, Zee is getting stronger from 7.30pm to 10pm with minimum 7.5+ ratings. It will be difficult for competitors to pull down, as one or the other story will support adjacent slot. Competitors should start pulling the highs from both the edges and direct target on high too.

Colors can easily become No.1 at 6pm, 6.30pm and 7pm slots if they work well. 9.30pm once BBK starts it will rule those slots. Only challenging slots are 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm and 9pm slots..

Will this advantage Siri Kannada, Public Movies, Public Music and many other SD channels to convert to HD Channels immediately?

Except movies, Sirikannada has HD content only. They can launch HD only channel ASAP and can target Urban Market which also helps in generating advertisement revenue.

They wont . Most of these channels dont even break even. They wont invest in HD as india still doesn't have HD penetration . In Karnataka alone the HD box penetration is between 37 - 41% and half of it is from Bangalore.

But mixing up the mythology and drama serials was a bad move and launching Janaki Samsara during IPL..

UDAYA TV's Shanthi Nivasa will get better ratings than Janaki Samsara
