What is the correct name? TV9 Kannada or Karnataka TV9? Why does this channel alone write its name differently when there are channels called TV9 Marathi and TV9 Gujarati? And why is its logo in the bottom left corner when other TV9 channels use the standard top right?

Popularly referred as TV9 only in Karnataka; officially known as TV9 Karnataka; stylized as Karnataka TV9 on logo.

Just noted this; with the launch of Zee Kannada HD, Kannada will be the first South Indian language to have at least one functional HD channel by the 'Big-Four' companies - Sun, Star, Zee & Viacom (Considering Color Tamil HD has not yet been added on any platforms).
If Sony starts a Kannada channel soon as per speculations and launch a HD variant too, then Kannada will become the first South Indian language to have at least one HD channel by the 'Big-Five' companies.
