Sony can launch one south indian GEC channel with Kannada, Telugu and Tamil feed instead of launching channels seperately in each market. They can include artists from all three region and each can be shot in respective region with PAN south indian story theme. With this they can enter south market with less investment and later strategically launch independent channel if required..

Zee Kannada and Colors Kannada are using their logos at the beginning of the video in short clips of their serials. Has anyone noticed this?

If Star Suvarna and Udaya TV able maintain its respective AMAs its well and good. During the last year IPL, both the channel lost around ~100AMA points each and never came back once IPL is over and migrated to Zee kannada ( from 1200AMA to 1400AMA)

Star Suvarna's YSL completed 1300 episodes.

The channel should conduct a very Big event gathering YSL, UURY and SM serials all the artists who appeared in the serial so far and celebrate the proud movement and create history and be in the trending news. This would definitely boost devotional viewers even more to its peak and can attract some rural viewers also.

Colors Kannada is Struggling only in Weekend, That's why their Ratings have decreased toomuch.
If they Telecast serial like Suvarna their Ratings will increase to 775+ AMA

Star increased ~50 points..
Few days back i spotted the social media promotion from April 1st on Star suvarna and also #eesalaRemoteNamde campaign.
If the channel do good promotion with target viewers, it reaches more people.

If now Suvarna can bring back those highly demanded kannada artists dubbed serials back to back with promotion, Star Suvarna can easily maintain minimum 1.5TVR in all those slots.


Udaya TV story line and promotion also getting in sync and it can also improve further.
