As expected, All DD Channels and MoU Channels of Existing MPEG-4 TP are now moved to new TPs (Currently available on Both). Means all new Private channels will be placed on existing MPEG-4 TP.

Hiii Shark,

It will surprise if MPEG - 4 updated as soon as possible with updating status in each level of stage. And parallelly shift/close TPs in MPEG -2.

It will difficult in some month but all users will start speedily to purchase MPEG-4 STB as priced 1000 - 2000/- .

Same time Prasar Bharti need to spread notification and visual adv. in each channels for migrating subject.

But Shark, Hope your word will true.

It's very difficult to shift all channels to mpeg2 stream to mpeg4 because PB know that if they do so viewers have to invest minimum 1000 to 2000rs and it will be biggest opportunity to private dth operator to attract viewers towards their FTA box with good offers.

Yes, It will difficult and challenges. But It will align it same time with full flange.

But in dark side, PB have full rights and authority to switch TPs but politically they will run it year by year. in hidden scenario - some more benefits has get it that's why not take action on it.

If you note, Some years ago ABS Freedish signal was shut down. PB had vital role on it. if he taken action on it with help of MIB,DOT,TDSAT then why not take action on his body to update it.

In hidden case - bread and butter getting so they will delay or avoid to comply in quick time.
