conclusion - d2h is a bakwaas dth :

1) no dd sound in sd channels
2) pq is bad in both sd n hd channels as compared to adtv
2) very very costly
4) package pricing is very very bad
5) lacks of major channels

I disagree on the first point. Which DTH is having that? Or which channel in India having DD on SD channels?

sorry bro. i was not knowing this fact. i thought adtv has dd sound in all sd channels.
but if it is the case then y there is a difference in audio quality between adtv n d2h huh:huh

There will be some difference in all DTH comparing one with other since each of them might be using different technologies. But I have no idea why.

free hd upgrade
325 wala pack - english movies n news channels but d2h - no english movies n news channels

a la carte rates r very very cheap now in adtv

all the major hindi movie channels including special service movies channels - adtv

d2h - lacking in competition of providing quality
