Each household in India has max 4-5 persons even as per the census count. So it's not 10 persons per households. They had 11.8 mn gross subscriber base in September 2014 as per this article -

D2H service provider Videocon to sell 33.5% stake to US-based SEAC for 0 million - timesofindia-economictimes

Which would have increased to 12-12.2mn by March 2015 so multiplying by 5 gives a number close to 6.5 crores. This could be the only logic. However, this does not take into account the net active subscribers number which is more important. But then no player does that. So I stand corrected on my earlier statement by this logic.

I got the above error when I tried to downgrade the package. But the message seems some changes are going to happen from D2H side. I think there may be some changes in the packaging like introducing Rs.99 pack as Vadi bro mentioned. Let us wait and see. It is my guess based on the error message.

I am using the lowest package South Silver. But it used to show different error message saying "You can't downgrade..". But now the error message is different. May be other users who is having any other pack than South Silver can also try and let us know.
