Hi Bhai, Just these 3 Hindi Plans available for me now - Hindi Value Lite (Rs. 256/month), Hindi Value HD (Rs. 323/month) and Hindi Mega HD (Rs. 469
month). NCF charges r extra, Rs. 90 or so is the NCF for Hindi Value Lite and Hindi Value HD while regular NCF applicable on Hindi Mega HD plan.

That's why they give benefit of Rs300 for increase in rent Rs 200(Rs500+200=699 plan in Airtel Black,this Rs100 discount in rental is covered here by not giving cheaper and economic plans by airtel

I tried to compare the same and found that still i am saving a around Rs. 100 in airtel black Rs. 699 plan. I was paying Rs. 409 for Family Sports + Kids HD bouquet (Rs. 338 bouquet cost + Rs. 61 NCF) while for a similar pack called Hindi Value HD i am paying Rs. 413 (Rs. 323 for bouquet cost + Rs. 90 NCF) and getting almost similar channels except few minor channels addition/removal in the latter. All Sony Sports Channels and Sony Pix r available in Hindi Value HD but few less costing channels r missing so overall still i am saving money and getting more channels

Also there is a SD pack called Hindi Value Lite which is costing me Rs. 354 (Rs. 256 pack cost + Rs. 98 NCF) and it includes all channels of Family Sports + Kids Pack which costs Rs. 309 (Rs. 219 pack cost + Rs. 80 NCF) . Hindi Value Lite also includes all Sony Network Sports and Sony Pix which again means i am saving some money.

Overall these packs r good if u want to stay on mid range and high priced bouquet ...even if u r opting for broadcaster bouquets then also airtel black Rs. 699 plan will save u Rs. 100 as same is the discount applicable on the plan.

If u want to stay with lower range packs or often shuffle between lower and mid range packs then u should not opt for Airtel Black DTH plans as lower range packs aren't accessible to Airtel Black DTH combo plans.

Also i would like to inform that if u suppose u r having monthly rental of more than Rs. 300 then Airtel will credit the whole monthly rental in ur DTH Account and customer does not have to recharge/top up his or her DTH Account. This has a flip side that one cannot avail discount / promo codes which r available from various platforms like Amazon Pay, Freecharge etc.and even bonus amount credited by Airtel Digital TV for certain recharge denominations cannot b availed in Airtel Black Plans.

Overall i would say that for plans we r getting a good discount but as we r losing our 3rd party wallet recharge benefits and Airtel Digital TV recharge denomination bonus hence there is no major saving happening for an Airtel Black DTH combo subscriber as compared to a subscriber who is on a regular plan.

Ofcourse there r certain other benefits provided under Airtel Black like Free Service Visits, Extended Warranty, OTT Benefits, Dedicated Customer Care Desk, etc. which again may not be of much benefit .

So today i decided to upgrade my base pack and opt for Hindi Value HD pack....noticed 2 things for previous "Hindi Entertainment HD" bouquet i was being charged just Rs. 1.50 NCF as compared to Rs. 78 which is regular NCF charge for this bouquet. Now for "Hindi Value HD" i am being charged only Rs.13.50 as NCF while regular NCF charges for the same are Rs. 90.

Considering the above factors i am indeed saving around Rs. 200-250 in DTH monthly charges by opting for this Airtel Black Plan...also there r saving of around Rs. 100 even in broadband plan. Even got disney+hotstar 1 year Free.

If u have earlier availed any of the OTT benefits (when ur connections were billed on individual basis) which are available under Airtel Black Plan then same won't be available again to u.

Lastly now on app i can even see option to choose Family+Sports Kids 6 months plan, however the monthly version of this alongwith certain other lower or mid range airtel/DPO bouquet still remain unavailable to me on the Airtel Thanks App. Maybe we can opt for all these packs by connecting with Airtel Digital TV customer desk team or just Adavance Rental Plans for such bouquets are being made available to Airtel Black DTH Combo customers.

Yes. Confirmed bro. I have myself made these changes in my dth account and mentioned the observations/results here. Customer Care won't b having such in depth information related to NCF discount applicable under various channel bouquets available to Airtel Black DTH combo plan subscribers

Buddy u will get billed for DTH account as per ur monthly usage so it can be more than Rs. 699 too if ur montly rental for DTH exceeds Rs. 300. You r free to choose packs or channels of ur choice and great discounts r applicable on such packs

I am planning to go for Airtel 699 plan also known as Airtel Black which includes Fiber and DTH. Regarding Fiber everything is mentioned in a proper way but regarding DTH , there is no mention of channel list. In short you can take any plan any cost,beyond Rs300 you will be charged extra,will be added to Rs699 but Dino bro can explain you better,if you choose Rs500 cost plan,Rs300 will be adjusted and extra more than Rs 300 ie Rs200 will be added to your rental Rs 699 so total rental may be Rs699 Plus Rs200 ie Rs 899
