You should raise a complaint about this to Tata Sky.

Didn't you buy a new PVR box? Aren't you eligible for 3 years warranty? I think they don't charge for service charge on first year.

Yes Box is under warranty, but i dont have visit warranty, so i will have to pay.

For upgrade the free visit is for 1 month, while hardware has 3years warranty. Only new connections have 1 year free visit

Service charges are the biggest cons of DTH. They should fix the issue for free like cable and internet providers doesn't.
