Installed a tsHD for my parents just a few months back, since the cable guy started giving them sh#t. This lockdown finally gave me the chance to look into nitty-gritty billing and optimizing MRB processes. One question for the veterans here, Cant I add a channel and remove the same before midnight since the billing is on d2d basis to save some quick bucks? How do TS counter this?

Yes you can do
Officially Lock-in period is 1 day but in practical it's 0 day

We all complaint about operators or broadcasters being unfair or unethical but does same rules not apply to subscribers or viewers or its okay to exploit loopholes for common people.

Come on bhai, if u r using service then pay accordingly... Why let operators or broadcasters not get their dues for giving us services? Not right in my view

Agreed. I was using this mainly to check-out/experience some channels quality before finally adding them to the overall package.

@dino29 bro. Dunno why 1 day lock-in period still hasn't been implemented. I think they are still waiting for NTO 2.0. Certain packs still has 1 day lock-in period though.
Breaking - Tata Sky increases lock-in period
Sooner or later 1 day lock-in period will come after lockdown is over. Right now staff are working from home.

Actually I said for information purpose only
I am paying for what not watching
As I get time to weekend only

Also resharing this. Tata Sky now gives option to take temporary suspension any number of times in a year so if u r worried about balance getting wasted but not getting time to watch tv then just go for this. Secondary connection can b stopped too while keeping primary active. No charges applicable
