seems to be samsung box. because i also have same model number box. but if you want to confirm check out the bottom panel of STB. there will a white sticker on which your Digicom number, nds number and box brand is written.

Switch off your Tv from Remote and also switch off the power supply.

don't switch off the STB from TS remote.

ON the power supply, and Switch ON TV from your TV remote.

as STB is not switched off from remote there is no any need to press the POWER ON key from TS remote

now get ready

When "Please Wait While Initializing" message will appear on your TV screen, Quickly press BACK button 2 times from TS remote,with this without wasting any time press 2,4,8,5 keys from TS Remote

Hi Wewake,

I have ready this treak earlier on various websites but it doesnt work for me.

Secondly can anyone tell me how to manually change the satellite from Insat 4A to Gsat 10.
Does it helps to enhance the picture quality after change?

then right now may be your STB is not in position to download new software.

Satellite settings are in the hidden menu of system settings. you can access that menu by following method-

1. Press Orginiser
2. Go to System Settings and quickly press 0, 1 and OK/Select key. but yesterday i was not getting any signal from GSAT10. So can't say anything about AQ and PQ

note- try it at your own risk. any change in satellite settings will lead to NO SIGNAL on your STB

‘No signal’ messages from Tata Sky and My Tata Sky websites removed. They sorted out things now it seems.
