Finally the best of DTH world is coming. This is very old plan of Tata sky, as I have shared 3 or 4 years ago first in this forum when a cc executive told me..

Also they may update USB port as wi-fi tethering with some dongle type device.. the internet service will be directly from satellite to dish-stb, many apps will be available in new software of DTH...

I mean how will uploading work ? Internet is two way traffic, downloading works now as we are all watching TV but how will STB upload to SAT ? Even narrow band VSAT users uses very big dish(ATM dish) to upload to satellite but our DTH dish is very small and video streaming require large bandwidth :u

This Direct To Home Internet service will work in all old and new STBs or a special Smart STB will be launch....??

Mr Nagpal has confirmed that no special STB required, it will be available on existing STB. But I am not sure how
