I had expected that, i can connect my Internet to Tata Sky STB and then i can browse websites on Tata Sky STB.
But here they are providing internet. Why will i buy Internet from Tata Sky when i am already paying for MTNL :wall :s :u :dodgy

Current broadband gets disconnected in power cut, at least with DTH internet there will not be any such issue like mobile broadband

bro there is no such issue for me in BSNL even in heavyrain when power goes off for hours due to fault or anyother reason BSNL works fine :shy

How about the speed of internet. any idea?

Speed will be such that it is capable of playing video on TV otherwise what will be the use of it

Here even my BSNL mobile gets signal off in power cut so forget about broadband as there is no power back up in local BSNL office :'(

Yeah quite frequently but now in monsoon it is less may be bcoz of less demand of power :s

No such problems here. If power gone whole day then also we can turn on ups and use the bb without any issues.

They are not using generator, that's why your mobile signal & bb not available during power cut...:s

May be but as far as I can see from my recent Odisha visit and UP (last year) they also have serious power cut issue. Mathura of UP is the worst I have seen so far :s
