d2h is far ahead interms of customer service and popular channels.
All other are playing catching up. Now dishtv surpassed with Highest number of HD channels
Some say Reliance has best quality for sd channels. Some say Tata Sky.
One cant get everything,if some one wants real good pricing,still a good number of channels and popular hd channels- Videocon is first choice. Some SD channels like Star sports are in really of bad quality in Videocon. But overall no other D2h Operator gives that many channels Videocon d2h gives in Platinum HD pack at 460 (Now 480rs),including 21+1 HD channels,almost all SD channels except Ten Cricket(But you can see for indian or imp cricket matches in TEN HD). This is best price one can get almost all popular HD channels except HBO channels. Price wise still Videocon is best. ( I mean in comparision with number of channels it has. I dont compare sundirect here,it has different user base altogether- Sundirect costs 3months 1102+you need addon to see all channels)


Every DTH has its own pros cons,its upto ones personal choice to decide which way to choose. Not every individual thinking will be alike,so as his choice of d2h and his own reason to make that choice

I have seen D2h HD connection on a LG smart tv. And I found no pixellation at all.Thats why I term those ppl as D2h bashers because they just oppose D2h for the purpose of opposing it. In fact most of these D2h bashers have even not used D2h at all.

I have Sony 32" LED TV KLV-32EX330. It is just a HD ready LED TV. I checked the logos in Sony SIX HD as described in one of the post. And I dont see any pixels over there. I am feeling a good PQ even in SD channels except few SD channels.. I will watch Tamil channels most of the time. In SUN TV or SUN MUSIC, when they are playing in HD, It is almost looks like HD. I don't know about other's perception. I have seen the same Tamil channels in my other DTH too.. Feeling D2H is having good PQ.

I don't want to compare the D2H PQ with my another DTH since this is not comparision. I hope others also wont get into comparision..

U cannot Identify Pixellation in HD Channels in a Picture...

Do one thing.. Go Neare to Ur TV and Keep Sony SIX HD and See the PEPSI IPL Logo on Left Top U can See that One....

If U Post any PIC U will tell that "My CAM LENS Has SCRATCHESS that Y The Pixellation is"

I will not Follow or Listen ur Words........

i have sony bravia ex52 led tv and d2h hd dvr but im not satisfy by the pq of d2h,
and in my other sony bravia cx52 40 inch lcd tv and tata sky + hd dvr where i found pq and aq is far better than d2h.
but what dino said that there is some benefit of d2h, i think he is right on some point but when he said that d2h is no. 1 that is not true.

Now Dish TV has highest no. of channels both in SD as well as HD.
D2H offers fantastic channel packaging of all popular channels at lower cost and 22 popular HD channels including ESS HD and Ten HD is a great asset.
PQ of SD channels in D2H HD STB is some what poor with visible pixellation but HD PQ is fabulous.
S/W and H/W quality of D2H is still a concern but for a common viewer D2H seems a best DTH considering overall package.And lastly they do have very good servicing network.

D2H Have Some Advantages As You Said,

It's The Only D2H To Provide All Sports HD Channels, As Well As Popular Channels,

But Currently They Lack Of TP Space,

May Be We Can't Expect More Than 2 HD Channels With Present TP Space,

Providing All HD Channels In Economic Rate,

if dino stops to compare videocon with airtel or tatasky.after that here no one ready to talk about d2h.so that is the way he try to promo d2h.

i like videocon for good hd low rate package.but they are not giving all sd channels for their high pack platinum.if i choose tamil only tamil are added and few kannada and few telugu not all?
