It’s easy to forget that Jaya TV was a very popular channel before Zee Tamil was launched in 2008. Zee Tamil destroyed Jaya TV and Raj TV the way Colors’ launch destroyed Sahara One in Hindi. Jaya even has an HD feed though only Tata Sky has it.

About hd feed reality is it only has a hd feed. Bcuz back when they applied for hd version when sd version was present ,hd license got cancelled so they converted sd to hd
About sd feed on dth it's downscaled from hd only I think.
