@Rushil bro, based all these posts below and a latest thread in Dish Tru HD section from me on Life OK HD Dolby Digital+ audio, it is confirmed that both Dish TV and D2H are using Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital+. So, please update the chart accordingly.

There are other audio compression technologies which arent that popular.
Maybe D2H is using those to save money

Bro, I have 100% confidence in my FTA box. It is showing Dolby Digital Plus for Life Ok HD in Dish TV. Likewise, the box is showing Dolby Digital for D2H HD channels, other HD channels of Dish TV and Sun Direct HD channels. So, D2H is using Dolby Digital Audio only.

You may be right or I may be right. But to know who is right, let us wait for official reply.

But I am sure that they are using Dolby Digital only. Reason, their box is capable of receiving Dolby signals from satellite and pass on the output to Audio decoders which is confirmed by Dolby official person. And their audio type is also showing Dolby Digital in all format set top boxes (including non-d2h boxes). So, they are definitely using Dolby Digital only.

Audio type of Sony HD from D2H in FTA box: you can see Dolby D.

Audio type of Gemini TV HD from Sun Direct in FTA box: you can see the same Dolby D in it.
