DTamil will also debut globally popular superhero shows: The Flash, Supernatural, DC Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow—dubbed in Tamil for the first time.

Congratulations Tamil viewers, u will be experiencing something unique, we do have star gold thrills but it's not airing variety of movies ,it concentrates and mainly depends on Marvel movies, Bindass movies was very entertaining before rebranding to Utv action which was also good until star stepped in and tarnished its content

Buddy was this a joke or are u serious when saying that Star Gold Thrills is not airing variety of movies.....they r airing so many different movies be it from their own parent company studio Disney, Marvel, 20th Century Studios ad even Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures, MVP Entertainment, Lionsgate and many other smaller studios plus various dubbed russian, chinese movies too on a daily movies....i guess eithet u do not watch the channel on a regular basis or just don't like Disney-Star hence made this comment....anyways compared to erstwhile Bindass Movies currently Star Gold Thrills is airing lot more variety of dubbed hollywood movies / chinese / russian movies

DTamil has always kept a low profile and functioned as essentially a Tamil version of Investigation Discovery, with only American dubbed shows. But now this is a very innovative step from Warner Bros. Discovery, having closed its HBO/WB channels (as @Zeta Reticuli anna mentioned) in December 2020, yet still finding a way to not only show its library in Tamil but also bringing some much-needed attention to an otherwise barely watched channel

Dada, they hardly aired any show from Investigation Discovery.....they aired shows mainly from, TLC, Food Network, Discovery Channel, DMax, Destination America .

Revamp was essential to drive up viewership....also we may see even Warner Bros Discovery launching more such GEC , Movie chs in Hindi , English too if this proves to be a success

Star Network strategy deserves reevaluation for optimal viewer experience,
Their decision to telecast The Conjuring 2 on Star Gold 2 and later on Star Movies HD in English only raises questions.
Previously, Star Movies HD offered Hindi and Tamil audio feeds, but they were removed,
In contrast, &flix HD successfully offers multiple audio feeds for various movies.
For instance, Home Alone 1, 2, and 3 are available in Hindi on Star Gold Thrills, but only in English on Star Movies HD,
A more streamlined approach to programming would benefit viewers.
Is it time for Star Network to reassess its strategy for improved viewer satisfaction?!

Warner Bros. Discovery aims to programme 3,000 hours of global and local content in India in 2024 and scale it to 3,500-4,000 hours in 2025.

Additionally, Warner Bros.' Hollywood library will be dubbed and localized for the DTamil channel.

It will be best for looking aspect in LED / Large TVs, if they telecast in 16:9 aspect ratio.
Now 4:3 only telecasting.
