Nice work jenius-jatt. Diwali wishes, waiting for next step !!
Welcome sir A very Happy Diwali to you & family, pl see the next step sir I work hard on that thanks.:)

Before using do the following:-
1. Turn on the satellite receiver. It's scale should be lit at this time and the meter reading should be around 0.
2. Set your dish to the proper azimuth and elevation settings.
3. Set the Satellite Finder's scale reading to about 5 by adjusting the level control on the right side of the face of the Satellite Finder. (Turning the knob clockwise will increase the reading.) :)

You will see when we connect to the sat finder to stb then it get the supply from the stb and it start Glowing,
The second end of the sat finder give supply to LNB and after Receiving the signal the signal meter start moving Clock wise. Which show's how much signal we are receiving.

SEE THE SS OF WORKING THE SAT FINDER:-

The connection is made and we will start hunting satellite:

Now as we get signal from any satellite the signal meter start moving:

CONTINUE.........
:)

Now after catching a satellite the signal start moving & increasing see the ss:

As the satellite signal increase, The signal on meter also Increase:

CONTINUED......... :):)

The working of Various LEDS:-
Now the 13V, 18V LED to indicate the polarization: You can adjust the polarization to achieve optimum signal level for both polarizations. 0Hz, 22KHz LED: The 22KHz signal of the receiver is commonly used to switch LNB frequency between high and low band.

Now we get full signal of satellite and it also show's the VERTICAL POLARITY signal as show'n in the figure see the ss:
Signalpol6.jpg

Now we get full signal of satellite and it also show's the HORIZONTAL POLARITY signal as show'n in the figure see the ss:
Signalpol7.jpg

THE SAT FINDER ALSO SHOW"S 22K LED WHEN WE GET 22K SIGNAL FROM STB & VARIOUS POLARITIES SEE THE SS:

Great Tutorial , IT is Very useful For Newcomers , :tup
Thanks jenius-jatt For Creating The Exclusive Lesson On "How to Use Digital Satellite Finder " :k

LEDS INDICATIONS:-
A. LED marked with 22KHz: The receiver is sending a 22KHz signal, used to switch some LNB to the high band frequency.

B. LED marked with 0Hz: The receiver do not send the 22KHz signal.

C. LED marked with 13V: Indicates the satellite receiver is switching 13V power to switch the LNB's vertical polarization.

D. LED marked with 18V: Indicates the satellite receiver is switching 18V power to switch the LNB's horizontal polarization.
Above info. on the manual itself:
Pl share your Idea's,Experiences and suggestions about sat finder here so that all friends can be benefited. Thanks :) :tup

nice work bro
You are welcome Devesh bro. :)

Good job mate... Much useful for newbies.

But one thing i dont like in this meter is it is not having the knob which is used to reduce the scale reading after it reaches the max position. So we can fine tune again. Hope you understand and agree
